"If you haven't got anything nice to say about anyone, come sit next to me" - Alice Roosevelt Longworth
the Annual Intensive Zen Seminar of Rinzai Zen Sect Myoshinji School

Tomorrow, I will attend the annual intevsive Zen seminar at Myoshinji temple in Kyoto, Japan. This is a three-day seminar for young monks, who just finished their monastic life.

The main concept of Buddhism is "there is nothing absolute and permanent in this world. Thus, Buddhism, itself, also keeps changing it style." Yet, it is important to know the traditional way of Zen. Without tradition, there is no new development.

I am so excited to attend this seminar and would like to use the knoledge I get in this seminar to create my own way of practicing Zen Buddhism, which will fit Today's world.

Let me agree with your inspiring statement and feel the thrill of standing at the doorstep separating tradition and new development at this breath-taking very moment.
I should like to read more about the seminar and your own way of practising Zen.
What a coincidence to hit upon your blog also just returning from a Sesshin.
